I love the Hawaiian island of Kauai as a vacation spot. In 1997 I was introduced to the pleasure of trail running on Kauai by my friends from HURT. The first set of photos were taken by Mike Garcia that year and the other sets taken by me when I returned in '98 and '99. I wasn't able to get there in 2000 and in 2001 I wasn't able to run, but my album shows why I love the island so much as a vacation spot.
