I'd like to second Stan's remarks regarding the outstanding features of this
Ultra - truly a running experience - and the Los Angeles ultrarunning group
was great!!  Very supportive and lots of fun!  This was one of the LA's
Ultra Grand Prix races, which brought out some very fast runners, and there
was even an 8 (or 9??) year old boy participating in the event!!

Anyway, with the sweatshirts, dinner and dance thrown in, this is an ultra
not to be missed in 1998!!  It provides an incentive to train through the
Christmas holidays!!  A big thank you to race director Paul McIroy and all
of the tremendous volunteers who were out there supporting everyone.
