Directions to the Start/Finish

From South Bay/San Francisco to Rodeo Lagoon
Take 101 North to the Alexander Avenue exit. Turn left at the stop sign (follow "Marin Headlands" signs) and go under the freeway. Go right up the hill onto Conzelman Road. Stay on Conzelman for ~1.1 miles and turn right onto McCullough Road, following it down the hill to the stop sign. Turn left onto Bunker Road and follow it for ~2 miles to the end at Rodeo Beach. Park as directed by our volunteer parking czars.

From North Bay/Richmond Bridge to Rodeo Lagoon
Take 101 South to the second Sausalito exit. This is the first exit after you have gone through the Waldo Tunnel, and is immediately at the North end of the Golden Gate Bridge. Turn left at the stop sign and immediately right up the hill onto Conzelman Road. Stay on Conzelman for ~1.1 miles and turn right onto McCullough Road, following it down the hill to the stop sign. Turn left onto Bunker Road and follow it for ~2 miles to the end at Rodeo Beach. Park as directed by our volunteer parking czars.

Volunteer and Crew Directions to Aid Stations

From the Start at Rodeo Lagoon to Tennessee Valley
Retrace your route back on Bunker Road for about 2 miles. Turn right on McCullough and go up the hill to the stop sign. Be careful at the top as you are crossing the race course. Turn left onto Conzelman Road and take it down the hill to Highway 101. Follow the signs for 101 North and get onto the freeway. Exit at Hwy 1/Stinson Beach. After about 0.4 miles you will see Tennessee Valley Road on your left. (If you get to the Dipsea Café, you have gone too far. Stop, buy a cup of coffee - or, better yet, have breakfast - and then go to the Aid Station.) Turn left here and follow Tennessee Valley Road to the end.

From Tennessee Valley to Muir Beach
Retrace your way back on Tennessee Valley Road to Hwy 1. Turn left. You will soon come to a traffic light. Turn left again (follow the "Stinson Beach" signs) and follow Hwy 1 for about 5 winding, twisty miles. You will pass the Green Gulch Zen Center. Turn left to Muir Beach at the Pelican Inn. The aid station is over the wooden bridge, East of the parking lot.

From Muir Beach to Pan Toll
Retrace your way back to Hwy 1. Turn left onto Hwy 1 and follow it for only 1/4 mile. Be mindful of the runners here as you are on the course. Turn right onto Muir Woods Road and follow it for about 3 1/2 miles to the stop sign. Turn left here onto Panoramic Highway and follow it for about 4 miles to the top of the long uphill grade. Pan Toll is at the top on your left. Parking is often difficult here and expensive ($6.) If your crew does not pay or parks in an illegal spot, they WILL get ticketed. The aid station is in the lower lot.

From Pan Toll to Bolinas-Fairfax Road
Exit Pan Toll parking lot back toward Mill Valley and take an immediate upper left onto West Ridgecrest Road. Follow Ridgecrest for about 7 miles to Bolinas-Fairfax Road. Parking is tight here, but at least it's free. Note: the runners will actually come out onto this road for about 100 yards about halfway between Pan Toll and Bolinas Ridge aid stations. It is okay to crew your runner here, although there's almost no place to park.

From Bolinas-Fairfax Road to Randall Trail
IF the Bolinas-Fairfax Road is open, take it West down to the North end of Bolinas Lagoon where the road meets Shoreline Highway. Turn right (North) onto Shoreline Hwy and drive several twisty miles (you're halfway there when you see Dog Town on your left) to the Randall Trailhead on your right. If you reach Olema, you've gone too far. Be very careful as there may be hikers and horse trailers at this trailhead as well. Your runner may travel this section faster than you can drive the narrow winding road, especially if you're stuck behind a feed truck. It is inadvisable to try to crew both Bolinas Ridge and Randall Trail. If the Bolinas-Fairfax Road is closed or you choose to crew your runner at Randall instead of Bolinas Ridge, retrace your route almost to Muir Beach, turning right onto Hwy 1 and following signs to Stinson Beach. Take Hwy 1/Shoreline Hwy through the little hamlet of Stinson Beach and follow it past Bolinas Lagoon, past Dog Town, to the aid station.

*Highway 1 Aid Station*
NO crews at this aid station. Parking is severely restricted and traffic often heavy and fast around the blind curve. Any runner whose crew shows up here will unfortunately be DQ'd, for everyone's safety.
